Just a day before our flight to Italy. We are finally on our way with a long list of things to do including strolling in the Piazza Navona Christmas market, visiting the exhibit about the great artists of La Serenissima (Venice) at the Chiostro of Bramante
http://www.chiostrodelbramante.it/ in Rome, the midnight Mass at the Vatican and of course the typical Christmas Eve dinner and the Christmas day lunch with the family. We will be sharing our traditional and more alternative family Christmas recipes with plenty of photos so do follow along and share your thoughts with us. We will be blogging from Italy about the best Italy has to offer during the holiday season.

We hope to find this great blue sky! Sometimes Chrismas in Rome can have unpredictable weather. This is the level of unpredictability we like.
Have a wonderful trip!
When in Naples I’d susgegt a day trip to one of the islands around there like Capri. The boat ride of there is beautiful and then the island itself is incredible.
